Meet Miss Denise!

Denise Baller resides in Webster with her husband Billy, and 15-year-old twins, Joey and Kristina. Dancing with Denise has been her passion since its opening in 1985, when she began this journey, fresh out of high school.

She graduated from Bishop Kearny High School in Irondequoit and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in small business management from RIT with a minor in child psychology. Her experience includes teaching pre-school physical education at Holy Cross for several years as well as teaching at several offsite daycare centers over the years in Rochester and surrounding towns. Denise is certified to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Zumbini, and Zumba for Kids. In addition, Denise has also completed a 200-hour teacher training in Baptist Yoga and teaches adults, children, and beginners, as well as chair yoga to the elderly.

The Studio is always buzzing whether it’s with weekly dance classes,

or her highly sought after (by kids and parents alike!)

Friday Fun Nights with Miss Denise. She also hosts an annual

Halloween Twirl, Trunk, and Treat, Holiday Elf School,

and a multitude of other special events throughout the year.

When it comes to celebrating, Denise can also be booked for

Birthday Parties, Mom’s Night Out, or any other special events!

Girl Scout Troops also have the opportunity to earn their dance badge

through Dancing with Denise. To end each year, Denise also takes pride

hosting a yearly dance recital for her students to showcase the fun

and learning they have experienced throughout the year!

The Dancing with Denise Studio was originally located in Irondequoit, where her husband also owned Boundaries Gym, until ten years ago, when they found their current building on Gravel Road in Webster. When they decided to move the studio to Webster, they completely remodeled the building which now houses a CrossFit gym and a training center as well as Denise’s Studio.

The Dancing with Denise Studio feels like family because it was BUILT around family! Denise’s parents were very involved in the studio from the beginning. Her mother, known as Miss Tina, used to sit at the front desk chatting with the moms, dads, and children. Miss Tina, and Denise’s dad, Frank, were always at the studio handing out balloons to any child who wanted one. They had a way of making every person feel important – a quality passed onto Denise who treats every child as her own.

As Denise’s mother, Miss Tina, began to age, the Happy Feet Dance Crew was born. The Happy Feet Dance Crew takes Denise’s passion and love for the elderly on the road- allowing her to teach in the mornings at multiple nursing homes in and around the Rochester Area.

Denise was awarded the Business Person of the year in 2022 through the Webster Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and is a chairperson of the membership committee.
